About Industrial Hemp

Hemp History

The recorded history of ingesting hemp dates back to the earliest written records of all major civilizations world wide. The earliest of which dates back to 3500 BC, where in ancient Chinese and Indian writings it was prescribed as a tea. Shortly after that era it also appears in traditional Hebrew anointing oil rituals. Due to the fact that sails and rope were made from hemp predating 3500 BC, the plant has literally found its way around the entire world,  and has appeared virtually everywhere rope and sails have been used. Historical evidence suggests the plant was utilized as a general tonic medicine, prescribed for everything from insomnia to childbirth anxiety, even as an aphrodisiac!

Why Take Hemp?

Hemp is the premier herb for regulating and supplying the endocannabinoid system with bio-identical compounds (known as phytocannabinoids), which create a physiological state known as homeostasis. Under ideal conditions, these bio-identical compounds are produced naturally in our bodies, and are also found in mother’s milk (endocannabinoids).

Endocannabinoid System

The primary function of this vital system is to regulate/modulate your nervous system, and thus create homeostasis, aka stable equilibrium. Either one’s nervous system is under active, over active, or its in homeostasis – a physiological state of balance. Full spectrum hemp extract is known to accommodate homeostasis. It is our opinion that this is the reason for the wide popularity of this super plant, and the many symptom relief testimonies from people who use it for medicinal purposes.

Why Full spectrum Hemp?

It is our opinion at Naikela Botanicals that the health giving compounds of the time honored hemp plant are best enjoyed with each other. The great feeling and benefits that come with full spectrum hemp extract has been called the “entourage effect.” Consequently, instead of isolating single compounds in hemp IE (CBD), we endorse utilizing the natural ratios of health giving compounds in the whole hemp plant.

How much can I/should I take?

The suggested serving (20mg per cup of tea) is a great place to start. Most people are able to detect a very positive subtle effect the first time they try it. Everyone’s unique constitution is different and we recommend listening to how your body responds. People with acute and terminal conditions will take 100s of mg a day depending on how severe the conditions are.

Will it make me high?

No, not in the psychoactive sense, but a state of “well being” is a common experience.

Will it show up on a drug test?

Possibly … although each individual’s weight and constitution would determine how much one might need to ingest to show up on a test. However, because it is full spectrum hemp, there is a trace amount of THC – less than .3%.

Is it Addictive?

Hemp extract is not physically addictive because your body’s endocannabinoid system is made to utilize the bio-identical compounds found in hemp (just as in mothers milk),  and it has no physically addictive side effects.

Hemp Infused Tea

Our full spectrum hemp extract has been evenly distributed throughout our tea powder, so each dose contains an even dose of full spectrum hemp (20 mg per serving).
